Brief

Envisioning food consumption

Traveller’s behaviours

Traveller’s behaviours

With the world population increasing and the sum of other facts (more access to different transports and more possibilities abroad to find answer for our needs), the number of travellers is also increasing and even our behavior while travelling.

Scenario

2050

Diferentes culturas
Diferentes comidas

In 2050, where travelling is a part of our daily agenda, meeting a lot of different cultures mean also meeting a lot of different food, and not all of what we’ll see we’ll like it, maybe for cultural or sensorial reasons.

reasons

What will happen if we need to eat what we don't want to see?, for example if we are in a little town, or if we are in a multicultural welcome event (were we accept just for respect) or maybe our reason is food waste (which in 2050 can even be illegal)

Problem

Food with visual disgust
Food with visual disgust

How to face the visual disgust as a daily issue?

Solution

How the visual disgust happen?

Datos

Solution (B) Sight

The eye convert the images in electric impulse
The occipital lobe connect and give us “sense” to the information

B (Sight)

Solution (B) Sight

The electric impulse generated by the (B) Sight lens, avoid the association of information, that is produced when the memories are called.

Data

Solution (B) Sight

The hippocampus keep the long term memory
Pablo Olavide university researchers were able to block temporary the recovery of memories in mice

Solution (B) Sight

You won't have any memory of what make feel disgust

(B) Sight

After experience

Option 1

Solution(B) Sight

If after seeing what you ate, you still feel disgust

Solution (B) Sight

After stimulating the “happy” neurons, the information is sended to the frontal lobe, and as the brain normally work, the information eventually will be deleted.

Data

Solution (B) Sight

The frontal lobe keeps the short term memory, thats means, that the information that is not relevant eventually will be deleted
Columbia university researchers were able to activate the “happy” neurons in mice, to help them go through “difficult” situation

Option 2

Solution (B) Sight

If after watching what you ate,you accept it, you not only will create a new experience but also will be a new learning

Solution (B) Sight

An experience is not complete if you cannot share it, that’s why with (B) Sight you can download your experience and share it with your friends and family. It is possible with the len’s packaging, which includes a 360° screen.
