Move with Sella
Domus Academy in collaboration with Foundation Achille Castiglioni

Before beginning
In january of 2006, the family of Achille Castiglioni, signed an agreement of 5 years with the Triennale of Milan, that way the Achille Castiglioni museum-studio could be open to the public. After the great success, the family wanted to continue the fact of sharing the stories that the place have with the people, for this reason in december of 2011 was born the foundation of Achille Castiglioni
The foundation keeps stories, objects and memories of a time life of one of the father of the italian design: Achille Castiglioni.
Brief
Create a link, that can be reproduce worldwide, between the physical space of the foundation Achille Castiglioni and the outside world through his objects, in order to create brand awareness.
Research and concept process
After doing an analysis to the information, collected in the research phase, we identify some values:
Heritage, inspirational, storytelling, involvement, connection,Irony/playful.
After analysing different objects and discover their stories, we decided to focus in one of the most representative objects of Achille Castiglioni: Sella
Solution
Involving the community in an edutainment urban game
With FuoriSalone on the design week, we created an event around the characteristics of Sella.
5 characteristics - 5 activities - 5 locations
Even though the italian design enthusiasts known the work of Achille Castiglioni, in the design week, a lot of foreigners arrive to the city, that's why before the launch in social media, they can see posters around the city to have an idea of how sella looks like.
Activity
After the activity is over at the foundation, which is the last spot, was Giovanna Castiglioni (Castiglioni’s daughter) and sella, giving a sincere thank you to the participants. To all of them that made all the activities and upload their photos in action with #WithWithSella won a present and the winner received the prize.
We can replicate this campaign in different cities with different Achille Castiglioni’s objects and tell their story.
