Before beginning
ACI (Automobile Club d'Italia) founded in 1898 as Automobile Club di Torino, in 1904 changed the name to the Italian Automobile Union (Unione Automobilistica Italiana) with the aim of promoting motoring in Italy, associating motorists and organizing sporting events.
ACI is the owner of the Monza circuit, famous for hosting the F1 Italian Grand prix.
Brief
To commemorate the 100 years of the Monza circuit, ACI want to create a special edition logo, to be used during the year and specially for the italian Grand Prix
Concept
After a research it was identity that among the fans the form of the circuit is really iconic, specially the part that is used in the Italian Grand Prix, for this reason this last one was used as the symbol, in a stylized way, giving the sensation of an award ribbon, enhancing the italian value with the chromatic choice.
Visibility
The application of the brand was present in the circuit, different posters and outdoor billboards in all the country, special advertising in one Underground line in Milan, some airplanes of the company ITA airways, the launch of the circuit in the metaverse, among others
